GRIEF SUPPORT
There are many great grief support groups out there. However, the reason Lori, our Director of Ministries, decided to be trained as a Grief Recovery Specialist was because this program is different from all the others.
Grief comes after a loss of any kind. Most groups only deal with death and divorce, but what about the loss of a dream? Your health? Your job? And then there’s the losses that aren’t negative losses, such as a job promotion, graduation from High School…and yet there is still a loss that needs to be dealt with. There are actually over 30 documented types of loss!
With the Grief Recovery Method, you will learn tools that will help you recover from the pain on your loss, no matter what it is. This is an educational based program where either in a group or in a one-on-one setting, you will be able to complete the issues that you wish were different, better, or more in your relationship. You CAN find hope and healing!

Home of the Swallow
Destiny of Hope is proud to support Home of the Swallow, which exists to help disadvantaged women in Chiang Mai, Thailand, who have had unplanned pregnancies, and are facing cultural, religious, or family pressures to abort or reject their child. Through the provision of opportunities for education, counseling, life-skill training, job-skill training, parenting classes, and spiritual and emotional support within a safe and loving environment, they empower these women to become loving independent caregivers of their children.
For those already on the path to independent living, we provide a safe, educational, and affordable daycare for their children to attend while they go to work. We want to see their children learn, develop, and grow to reach their greatest potential and have a promising life, where they can not only thrive, but can help others in their community as well.
Fundamental to the work of HOS, it is their belief that true, transforming change can only take place with a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. So, it is their desire to see these women firmly established in healthy and growing communities of faith where God is their center. With this, we hope that they are able to experience more of God’s love, share that love with others by serving their community, share the Gospel with those around them, and glorify God in all that they say and do.

Choices Pregnancy Centers are licensed medical facilities that have been serving women and families in the greater Phoenix metro area since 1983. They are staffed by medical professionals who believe you should have accurate, reliable information about your pregnancy and sexual health. We believe you deserve to be treated with respect and armed with all the facts so that you can make informed decisions. The centers provide free, safe and confidential consultations with caring client advocates and nurses who are here to address your questions and concerns.
CPC services include free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds, low cost STD testing, recovery programs, material assistance and community referrals.

Short Creek Family Services
Short Creek Family Services was founded in 2016. They are dedicated to helping people become healthy in body, mind, and spirit through direct and referral services. They work and collaborate with communities to solve the unique problems associated with life after polygamy and the FLDS Church. Short Creek gives help, hope, and a future to those in need. This is accomplished by showing Christ’s love and compassion without judgment in all that they do.
Short Creek Family Services seeks to help program participants become healthy and productive members of society. They are supported through donations, fees, grants, and contracts with federal, state, and county government agencies. They continue to grow and change in order to meet the challenges unique to this community and of the future. They are committed to obeying, honoring, serving, proclaiming and glorifying Christ in all they do.
Destiny of Hope is honored to work with this organization in the quest to bring hope to those who have left the FLDS community.s
